Teaching about computer systems.
Trying to improve Czech academia by writing:
- Why and how to do PhD abroad for Czech students, and
- Why you should hire Czech students (and which one) for foreign professors (coming soon).

Spent a wonderful year in RS3Lab at EPFL working on scalable storage stack for heterogeneous HW.
Advised by Prof. Sanidhya Kashyap and worked closely with Dr. Diyu Zhou.
Was a lecturer at Charles University (Dept. of Distributed and Dependable Systems).
Had a business on building customized servers and open-source software deployment.
I deployed dozens of customized large storage systems together with QEMU/KVM-based solutions.
Was a systems engineer (storage and networking). Also interned at Red Hat twice.
Converted to systems research from AI/ML.
Was lucky to work with professors
- Sanidhya Kashyap from EPFL,
- Peter Desnoyers from Northeastern University,
- Petr Tuma from Charles University and
- Ondrej Kuzelka and Filip Zelezny from Czech Technical University in Prague.
Obtained degrees with miscellaneous honors from
- Charles University (MS and Advanced MS in Systems),
- Czech Technical University in Prague (MS in AI/ML) and
- Brno University of Technology (BS in CS).

With a particular focus on high-performance I/O.
